Victor Quinones

Victor started training martial arts in 2006, training primarily in Tae Kwon Do, as means of learning to protect himself and as a stress-relieving hobby. In the summer of 2008, he attended a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Seminar where he met Kroyler Gracie. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu changed Victor's entire approach to how one should protect himself. Being a smaller guy, Victor valued Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's approach to self-defense, in which through leverage and proper use of momentum anyone can protect themselves even against bigger assailants.

In the fall of 2008, Victor decided to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu full time with Kroyler Gracie, and eventually achieved the rank of Brown belt in 2015. During his training career, Victor became one of Kroyler's instructors and now he heads the Kids Jiu-Jitsu Program at Kroyler Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

Victor has often remarked Jiu-Jitsu as having saved his life, as it helped him overcome many adversities. Victor now has made a major shift into coaching and focuses on making sure that everyone around him also benefits from all the great qualities Jiu-Jitsu has to offer. Victor simply wants better those around him and give them the gift of Jiu-Jitsu. Such that Victor often will help students before and after class that may be struggling or have extra questions. Victor also teaches an Women Empowerement course for free for women of all ages. He believes everyone should be capable of protecting themselves through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
