Kroyler Gracie brings over 16 years of experience as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under 8th-degree Coral Belt Marcio "Macarrão" Stambowsky—one of the "Famous Five" to receive a black belt from the legendary Rolls Gracie. Known for his profound insight and highly structured approach, Kroyler is in constant demand for seminars across the globe. As a lifelong student of the art, he tirelessly analyzes new trends and technical developments to ensure his students receive the most evolved Jiu-Jitsu experience possible.
For Kroyler, dedication to his students is absolute. Here, people aren’t just practitioners; they are Familia. Both long-time students and first-time visitors frequently attest to the welcoming, encouraging environment Kroyler fosters on and off the mats. Whatever a student’s ambitions may be, he is committed to guiding them toward their personal goals.
Born in Brazil, Kroyler grew up training at the family ranch under the tutelage of his grandfather, Helio Gracie, one of the primary founders of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He moved to Elkhart, Indiana, in his teens and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 2019. Kroyler currently resides in Elkhart with his wife, Taylor, and their four canine companions: Sun, Matryoshka, Atama, and Zoey.
"Kroyler is an exceptional teacher, one of the planet's best, amazing inside and outside of the mats."
- Marcio Stambowsky, 8th degree Coral Belt
"I've been training for almost 25 years and have trained with many of the top instructors in the world to include Rickson, Pedro Sauer, Saulo Riberio, the Migliarese Brothers, and many others. I recently met Kroyler Gracie and find him to fit in as one of the best teachers in the world."
- Rich Komar, 3rd degree Black Belt
"Kroyler is an incredible instructor who is deeply invested in the success of his students. His knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu goes far beyond ability to perform; he understands the details that make the techniques work (he's a Jiu-Jitsu encyclopedia). Kroyler is also an incredible person, and the members of the academy are welcoming (and also very technical)."
- Jay Mansfield, 4th degree Black Belt
