The Academy

Kroyler Gracie Jiu-Jitsu was built with a simple but deliberate goal: to provide high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction in an environment that values people, responsibility, and long-term growth. 

From day one, the academy has been guided by the belief that Jiu-Jitsu should be taught with clarity, structure, and respect — for the art, for training partners, and for the individual goals each student brings with them. 

Whether someone walks through our doors for self-defense, fitness, competition, or personal development, they are met with the same standard of professionalism and care. 

How We Teach

We focus on strong fundamentals, sound mechanics, and problem-solving rather than shortcuts or trends. Students are taught to understand why techniques work, not just how to perform them. This approach builds confidence, consistency, and the ability to adapt as skills develop over time.

Our instruction covers every aspect of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Students develop skills across standing engagements, takedowns, positional control, escapes, submissions, and transitions, in both gi and no-gi contexts, as well as self-defense scenarios. Program curriculums were built the ensure success and development of all practitioners regardless of experience level. We emphasize adaptable principles and concepts that allow techniques and understanding to evolve as the art continues to grow.

Progression is encouraged and nurtured, but never rushed. Students are guided at a pace that supports optimal learning, safety, and longevity — not burnout.

A Responsible Training Environment

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a physically demanding discipline, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Classes are supervised, instruction is age-appropriate, and safety is always a priority. We emphasize control, communication, and mutual respect between training partners so students can train with intensity while minimizing unnecessary risk.

Parents trust us with their children and our Children's Jiu-Jitsu Program. Adults trust us with their health and well-being. That trust informs how we teach, how we train, and how we operate every day.

Leadership and Experience

Kroyler Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is led by Kroyler Gracie and a group of experienced instructors who are committed to teaching with integrity, patience, and professionalism.

Kroyler's highly technical approach, high standards and analytical mindset is made very apparent in each of the programs and their respective curricula. As well as on the high standards held by the academy and all of the instructors. These same standards are expected and apparent in our students. 

Our coaching team takes pride in clear and effective communication, thoughtful and technical instruction, and building genuine relationships with students. Teaching is not treated as an afterthought — it is a responsibility we take seriously
