Jesus Garcia started his Jiu Jitsu training in February of 2020.  From the beginning Jesus knew it was something that would be an important part of his life.  Jesus dedicated a lot of time to the mats, learning the curriculum, and eventually testing for blue belt in October of 2020.  

In early 2021, Jesus began helping with the kid’s program as one of the assistant instructors.  During his first year as an instructor Jesus has quickly become one of the main instructors in both the 7-12 year old class as well as the 4-6 year old fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu program. Jesus is also the head instructor our KGJJ - Sturgis location which is one of our satellite schools.

The future is bright for Jesus as he is dedicated to making Jiu Jitsu his full-time career. Jesus has also been an active force and key figure in the growth and development of KGJJ - Sturgis. We are looking forward to watching him develop his Jiu Jitsu as well as his skills as one of our instructors. You’ll find him on the mats 5-6 days a week, so ask him to drill or roll, you’ll enjoy the experience!
