Jeff wrestled his entire life, achieving multiple tournament wins. Upon his departure from wrestling and his career taking off, Jeff desired to continue grappling. Upon seeing the first few UFCs he desired to learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's efficacy was demonstrated by the Gracies.
In 2004, Jeff started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Kroyler Gracie. Kroyler and Jeff went on to become training partners and study Jiu-Jitsu together. The two developed a great friendship, and Jeff's 20+ years of high level wrestling experience influenced Kroyler's deeply technical Jiu-Jitsu.
Jeff's high aptitude for grappling and his relentless work ethic earned him a black belt in 6 years. Jeff has been a Black Belt for 13 years and one of the main coaches at Kroyler Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, where he seeks to improve everyone around him, and remains one of Kroyler's main training partners.
