While rooted in the Sturgis community, this school is fully integrated into the KGJJ team.
Instruction and Curriculum
Training at KGJJ Sturgis follows the same curriculum and instructional framework used across all KGJJ locations.
Students develop skills across the full scope of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including positional control, escapes, submissions, transitions, and standing engagements. Instruction emphasizes fundamentals, sound mechanics, and long-term development rather than shortcuts or trends.
Regardless of the KGJJ location, our students benefit from a uniform standard of instruction and a seamless path to advancement.

KGJJ Sturgis is led by Jesus Garcia, a handpicked instructor who received his instruction and mentorship directly under Kroyler Gracie.
Jesus teaches with the same attention to detail, structure, and professionalism that define KGJJ. His leadership reflects a commitment to technical quality, responsible instruction, and maintaining a positive, focused training environment.
